I spent the night (early morning, if you would rather) at his loft, together with vicente__ and Tansy. Slacking, playing fifa08, magic, and finally watching Arsenal vs AC Milan, with glimpses of Lyon vs Manchester United.

The promised goals deluge (or the young guns of Arsenal ripping apart the old guard of Milan) wasn't to be. Kaka' was terribly off form, Pato was excellently imba, Seedorf was being a noob shite. Fabulous Fabregas was spraying passes left and right, Flamini was embarrassing Gatusso. And the closing stage was marred severely by Adebayor's stooping-header-unto-the-crossbar-and-away-from-an-open-goal.

Benzema's strike into Van Der Sar's net was instinctive, Tevez's equaliser was poach-eristic. Ferguson wants Benzema, and with Manucho coming back next season, Dong Fangzhuo can disappear.

But for some reason, Dong is my 4th choice striker in FIfa 08, and pairs with Saha when I'm playing FA/Carling Cup matches.  =S


In other news, Toto later. Hoping to win first prize. Think it's 10 million bucks.

Poor Boro. Counterattack releases Rooney and as he surges forward he slips the ball to Tevez. Tevez checks, and tries to curl past Schwarzer. The ball hits defender (Taylor's) arm, bounces once very high, and then right into the goal past a bewildered Schwarzer. Comical sums it up.

First LiveFooty doesn't work, as me, Hang and TYZ have tried to our eternal frustration. As of my typing, LiveFooty's page doesn't seem to be loading, and before that, when it was working (at 7.35 WTF, 5 mins before match) the prescribed channel was not working. WTF.

Anyway, today, I went on hot date with TJX to Funan, the IT MALL! Wow look at that IT! Now this IT! So many ITs! IT is TRENDY!

1) Went to Saturday Lorwyn Pre-release. 1-3, 1-3 results. Is not very happy. Untyco as usual. Only opened Jace (Blue Planeswalker) as something worthwhile, unlike ALFRED GOH. Open two FOIL Thoughtseize. GAY. A non-foil was worth around $15 the last I heard. The price should have increased. I think that's the most ex card in this set right...?

2) Man Utd won 1-0. Lame.

3) I scored from a corner in Fifa 07 with Beckham. And used Messi to do a Maradona, ran from halfway line and scored a goal. I only saved the former (as replay).

4) Gurren Lagann has officially ended. GAR GAR GAR GAR GAR. Say that with me.
So now, there's a GAR-shaped hole somewhere in me. I think. We need moar anime like Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

5) OCTOBER. That means all the new anime are starting. Which brings us to point 6. It also means A levels at end of month. OH NOES.

6) First was AIR. Then it was KANON. Now, another Key(game prod) and KyoAni(anime prod) combo is here. It's CLANNAD. And this is the kind of song that gives me a that kind of tingly floaty wonderful feeling.

As usual, the quality looks awesome. Since it's KyoAni.

7) Rental Magica. The song is nice. So does the animation look.

8) This video apparently contains 2007 Fall New Anime Trailers. I don't know cause my connection is being a female dog and loading it slowly. Waiting to watch. Watched abit. Yes it starts with CLANNAD. Yes it shows a girl laughing and then her friend sticking a straw in a packet drink up her nose. Crazy.
